Your Brand Kit is the fastest way to make every campaign look and sound like your shop — without rebuilding your branding from scratch each time. Point Porter at your website, and it will scan the site and pull together your colors, logos, images, and tone of voice into a reusable kit that gets applied to your campaigns.
Who can use this: Brand Kit is available to shop managers from the Marketing tab on app.getporter.io.
✨ What's in a Brand Kit
When Porter scans your site, it collects four things:
Brand colors — including your background and text colors
Logos — any logo files it finds on your site
Website images — photos it can pull in for use in campaigns
Tone and voice — a short description of how your shop sounds
You'll get a chance to review and edit every one of these before anything is saved.
🚀 Setting Up Your Brand Kit
Log in to Porter as a shop manager
Select Marketing in the left-hand toolbar
Open the Brand Kit tab on the far right
Paste your business's website URL into the field on the setup screen
Click Set up my brand — the button with the magic-wand icon
⏰ Heads up: The scan can take a couple of minutes. Porter is reading through your site to find your colors, logos, images, and tone, so give it a moment to finish.
✏️ Reviewing What Porter Found
Once the scan is done, you'll land on a review screen with everything Porter pulled from your site. Nothing is locked in yet — take a pass through each section and adjust anything that doesn't feel right.
Colors
Check the background and text colors first, since those set the overall look of your emails. To remove a color you don't want, click the X on it. To add one, use the color slider or paste in a hex code.
Logos
Remove any logos you don't want included, and upload additional ones if Porter missed something — an alternate mark or a version on a different background, for example.
Images
Review the photos pulled from your site. Remove any you don't want available in campaigns, and add more if you'd like a bigger library to pull from.
Tone and voice
Porter writes a short description of how your brand sounds. This is free text, so edit it to reflect how you actually want campaign copy to read — friendly and casual, polished and minimal, whatever fits your shop.
Email template
Porter also generates an email header and footer using your branding. Click into either section to make edits.
💡 Tip: Spend the most time on your background and text colors and your tone and voice description. Those two carry the most weight in how your campaigns come across.
✅ Saving Your Brand Kit
When everything looks right, click Looks good in the top-right corner
You'll see a confirmation that your brand kit is ready and will be applied to your campaigns
Click Continue to return to the Brand Kit dashboard
🔁 Updating or Adding Another Brand Kit
Your branding isn't locked in once you save it. You can head back to the Brand Kit dashboard anytime to update your colors, logos, images, tone, or email template.
You can also create additional brand kits from different websites — handy if you run more than one brand, or want a separate look for a specific type of campaign.
