🧾 Your Default Waiver

When you create your first waiver, Porter automatically sets it as your “Default Waiver”. This default waiver is used for all tattoo appointments unless otherwise specified.

➕ Step 1: Create Your New Waiver

  1. Go to the Waivers tab in your Porter dashboard

  2. Click “Create New Waiver”

  3. Enter a waiver name (e.g. “Piercing Consent Form” or “PMU Waiver”)

  4. Customize each section:

  • Toggle sections on or off

  • Edit the questions or fields to fit the service

Once it looks good, click Publish. For more details on all the options when configuring your waiver, check out our guide on setting up your waiver here!

🔗 Step 2: Tie Your New Waiver to a Service

  1. Click your name in the top-right corner

  2. Navigate to Manage Shop > Booking

  3. Scroll down to Other Services

  4. Click Edit next to an existing service, or Add New Service

  5. In the service settings, you'll now see a “Waiver” dropdown

  6. Select the new waiver you just published

🗓️ How It Works

When you schedule an appointment for that service: - Porter will automatically assign the correct waiver to the client - The client will receive a link to complete the specific waiver you tied to that service
