⭐ Reputation Management with Porter

Porter makes it easy to manage and grow your online reputation across Google and Yelp—without ever leaving the platform. If you're a full studio or an Artist on the Pro Plan, you'll have access to Porter’s built-in reputation tools.


🚀 How to Get Started

To access Reputation Management, you’ll need to be on an eligible plan. To upgrade:

  1. Click your name in the top right

  2. Select Manage Subscription

  3. Choose the Studio Pro or Artist Pro plan


🔗 Connect Google and Yelp

Once you’ve upgraded, head to the Online Reviews page in Porter. From there, you can:

  • Connect your Google and Yelp accounts

  • See all incoming public reviews in one place

  • Respond directly to both Yelp and Google reviews from inside Porter

No more bouncing between platforms—everything is centralized in your dashboard.


💬 Internal Review System

Porter also includes a powerful internal review system to help you filter and redirect client feedback intelligently.

Here’s how it works:

  1. 1 hour after an appointment, if the Review Link is enabled in Client Messages, the client receives a text asking for feedback.

  2. If the feedback is positive, and your Google/Yelp accounts are connected, we’ll prompt the client to copy/paste their review to one of those platforms.

  3. If the review is negative, it will be kept internal only—giving you a chance to respond and improve without risking public visibility.

This auto-filtering helps you grow your positive reputation while learning from the occasional bad experience—without airing it online.


🎨 Customize Your Review Page

Make the experience match your brand:

  1. Go to the Online Reviews page

  2. Click the Settings ⚙️ icon in the Internal Reviews section

  3. From there, you can:

    • Customize the branding and color scheme

    • Edit the review prompt language

    • Add your Google Review Link (so Porter knows where to send happy clients!)

Adding the correct Google Review link is crucial—this ensures we prompt your clients to leave public reviews in the right place.
