Booking for guest spots

Fill your books for upcoming guest spots and conventions you're working

Updated over a month ago

If you're traveling for a guest spot, Porter makes it easy to manage bookings during your trip—without any confusion for your clients.

✍️ How it works

Once you’ve added a guest spot to your schedule and set Books Open, Porter takes care of the rest:

  • A question is added automatically to your request form asking the client where they’d like to book you

  • When the request comes in, you’ll see the requested location listed on the request

  • Accept the request just like normal

📅 What the client sees

When a client goes to book:

  • We’ll only show them dates you’re available in that specific location

  • If your main location is Chicago, but you have a guest spot in LA from July 1–7, clients will see:

    • Clients in LA → only July 1–7 dates

    • Clients in Chicago → your usual dates (but July 1–7 will be blocked off)

📍 Appointment details

On their confirmation page, clients will see the:

  • Studio name

  • Address
…that you entered when setting up the guest spot—so there’s no confusion on where to show up.
