Complete your section of the waiver

When the "Service Provider Section" is enabled on your waiver, follow the process below to complete your section and finalize waivers

🛠️ What’s Included in the Service Provider Section?

By default, this section includes:

  • Provider name

  • Service description

  • Ink lot / catalog number

  • Provider signature

You can customize any of these fields when setting up your liability waiver to match your studio’s needs. View our guide on setting up waivers & consent forms here.


🔔 How You’re Notified

Once the client completes their portion of the waiver:

  • You’ll receive a text message with a link to complete your section of the waiver

  • OR you can open the waiver manually from the Porter mobile app by clicking on the orange waiver icon on the appointment from the calendar page


📲 How to Complete Your Section

Option 1: From the text message - Tap the link to open the waiver directly

Option 2: From the mobile app

  1. Go to your Calendar

  2. Tap the orange waiver icon on the appointment

  3. Once the service provider section opens, you can view the waiver that the client has completed so far, and then go through each of the questions and fill in your answers. Finally, submit your portion of the waiver.


✅ After Submission

Once your section is submitted:

  • The waiver becomes finalized. The finalized waiver will be shown to you on the page for you to review, with both the clients section and signature, and the information you filled in.

  • You’ll immediately see a green waiver icon on the appointment - You can tap the green icon at any time to view the full, completed waiver
