🛍️ How to Add Retail Items to Checkout
Whether you're using the Porter mobile app or app.getporter.io:
Go to the checkout screen
Look for the "Add Item" box in the checkout summary
Start typing to search for an existing item from your item library
You can also enter a custom item name and price if the item isn’t pre-saved
Once added, you can manually adjust the price of the item if needed
💡 Important Notes
Retail items and custom line items should only be used for physical products (like aftercare or merch)
For appointment charges, always update the appointment price directly
This ensures commissions are calculated and paid out correctly
Selling retail through Porter is fast, flexible, and automatically tracked — giving you a streamlined way to boost revenue at the point of service.
