Setting up Aftercare Links + Review Links (Artist)

Porter offers complimentary post-appointment SMS messaging anytime after an appointment is checked out. The messaging includes 2 options:

  • Aftercare link and messaging
  • Google review link and messaging

To turn post-appointment messaging on, simply navigate in the Porter App to Profile —> Client Messages. You'll see an option to add both a link for Aftercare instructions and a link to direct your clients to leave a review. The client will receive the following messages once links are input in both fields:


Aftercare - Sent immediately after appointment is checked out:

Hi {{customerName}}! Thanks for visiting {{StudioName}}. Check out our tattoo aftercare instructions through the link below. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions. {{aftercareLink}}


Google Review - Sent 1 hour after appointment is checked out:

👋 {{customerName}}! This is {{artistName}} from {{StudioName}}. I hope you love your new tattoo! Can you please take a moment to leave me a review? It helps so much, thank you! {{reviewLink}}
