Using the Porter Marketing Module
For shop owners/managers who want to send SMS or Email blasts to their customers, simply navigate to the "Marketing" tab on the left-hand side of the browser version of Porter (app.getporter.io).
After clicking into the Marketing module, you can build a new campaign. You'll follow the steps below to build and decide what you want to send:
- Select the "New Campaign" button
- Name the campaign and decide if you want to send an SMS or an Email campaign
- Decide which customers you want to send the campaign to
- All Subscribed Customers
- Active Customers (appt or request in the last 6 months)
- Inactive Customers (no appt or request in the last 6 months)
- Highest Spenders (top 20% of your customers by amount spent)
- Frequent Visitors (top 20% of your customers by amount of visits)
- Customer segment (Create your own list of customers based on the below filters)
- Total Spend
- Last Appointment Visit
- Number of Visits
- Is a client for the service (filter between service types the customers have received, i.e. piercing, tattoo, PMU, etc.)
- Is on the mailing list for (filter between artists or service providers that the customer has had an appointment with)
- Decide when you went to send the campaign (now versus scheduling at a later date)
- Design a message
- You can use our email editor or text builder to design a message to send to your customers. We recommend being as brief and succinct as possible for best results and including your Porter booking link in the message for easy access!
